KCRW Presents: Van Hunt

Van Hunt seems to suffer defying expectations. Known to many as a well-spoken RB singer, he channels influences trimming from Frank Zappa and Jimi Hendrix to Iggy Pop and Sly and a Family Stone on his latest album, What Were You Hoping For? The record facilities dashes of punk, despondency and even prog-rock, and he let them all slice in this live event on KCRW, with utterance vocals to match.
